Was wondering if you guys could go into more detail of setting up the Aurora 9 radio for differential thrust? I just smoked one of my motors and ESC and I don't know if it was something I did. All wiring is correct. Everything was working fine until I switched the wires around to reverse direction of rotation.

I've been watching flite test for months even years and I've never heard the background noises. Flite test isn't about perfection it's about rc planes and having fun with the guys. So stop complaining

Why do you have to remove the power cord for the esc extension? And why only one? This is only my third build, so I'm pretty new to this.

I just finished building a Kracken. I followed the video and carefully checked my CG and flight surfaces before the maiden. The plane flew beautifully set up just the way they lay out in the video. Thanks so much for making such a great product, the build was almost as fun as watching it take off the first time.

The best way to show a build is to build it, and not yak about building. You're
boring me to death with all the yak.

these guys all seem to have pushrods for the aileron servos.. i think for builds that dont have good places to put the servos, could you could put the aileron on string going to the servo then have a rubber band on the other side of the servo to pull it back?

Funny that there is no spar carrying through from left to right wings, they are just glued to each other by the skins. …What kind of foam is that BTW? Will Depron work in such a large wing?

Ukhelibob and Matt Barnard I think it shows that even though it is a business they have their priorities right because family always comes first. Flite Test please keep up the great work and I hope you can make as much family time as possible!

I hope someone from FT reads this, as I got ready to build the landing gear, wire included in the kitΒ and following the video, the wire is 4.25 inches short, a 15 inch wire won't complete a 18.25 inch run. I would include a picture, but I can't find a way to upload one.

    Hi there,

how big is the fullsize plan or The Kraken x by y inches?

I want to try and build a Kraken from the material that, is left over from the inner renovation of my house.
There a 20 sheets of foam called "Depron" left in a thickness of about 0.25 inches and I think it would be great to "make those fly".
